Dunbar Harbour Trust Community Project
Restoring a wooden, traditionally (clinker) built sailing boat called “Pearl of Dunbar’
The project aims to get the community involved through each stage of Pearl’s journey back to the sea. Dunbar Harbour Trust wants to keep the harbour at the heart of the community and is offering an inclusive project that everyone, all generations, abilities and with different life experiences can play a part in.
Once restored, The Pearl of Dunbar can offer everyone a chance to get out on the water, learn to sail and maintain her, and to enjoy being part of a seafaring community.
