Every springtime the yachts and leisure boats are craned into the harbour. This is a great sight as the yachts effectively fly.
2024: planned for 19th April.
The whole process takes 3 hours of careful crane/boat management by the Sailing Club. Hi-vis and hard hats are worn and spectators must keep clear. The boats are then taken to their summer moorings until the crane-out takes place in October.
