Our Harbourmaster has been organising the assessment of the leading lights and it was agreed that the green and red leading lights and the triangular marker should be replaced. When arriving, for boats with deeper draughts, it's wise to follow the green guidance between the Scart and Castlefoot Rocks on a bearing of 198deg.. When the red light becomes visible through the harbour mouth on a bearing of 132deg. it's time to turn in, tie up, and turn in (for a good night's sleep).
